Years ago, I started asking more questions.

• Where did this come from?

• Are they hiding anything?

• How was the animal raised?

• Can I ask questions to the person who grew it or made it?

• What am I putting on my skin?

The more I learned, the more I realized I wanted something different—not just for my family, but for my friends too.

I wasn't looking to start a farm. I was looking for food I could trust.

That's when God put it on my heart to raise my own.

What began with a few simple questions has grown into Broken Picker Farm.

God met me here.

In the early morning milkings.

In the rooster crowing before the sun came up.

In the ducks talking back and forth.

In the cold dew on my feet.

In the stillness, the noise, the life, and even the hard days.

This farm has become so much more than a place where I raise food. It's where God has taught me to slow down, trust Him more deeply, and appreciate the simple things again.

Those same questions that started this journey still guide me every single day.

If I didn't feel good serving it to my family, I wouldn't feel good offering it to yours.

Because Broken Picker Farm has never just been about food.

It's about knowing the person who raised your food.

It's about slowing down.
